BANANAQUIT in Ft. Lauderdale

Brennan Mulrooney just called me (9:00 a.m.)to report that he found a Bananaquit in Ft.Lauderdale. He found it in the courtyard of the Best Western Marina Inn: 954-525-3484 Address: 2150 s.e. 17th st. Causeway. From US1 take the 17th st. Causeway east over a bridge; look on your right for a sign to the Best
Western located just over the bridge on your right.

The bird was feeding in a Bottlebrush tree in the courtyard and then later in some trees lining the water.
