Planning a late April trip to S. Florida, mainly using Pranty's Guide, have some specific Q's about Miami area I hope some can answer: do snail kites still roost at WPB's Solid Waste Authority? In the Miami- So.Miami area, is Matheson a solid place to devote a full morning (looking for Fla specialties and migrants--but not psittacids), or would you recommend a better? For psits, it sounds like Baptist and Fair Haven between them (2-3 hours each)should do it--is this fair? I can see that watching this birdboard is essential, too, as the day approaches.
