Based on Steven's long list of bird sightings and Bill's confirmation, I went to the Cutler Wetlands on 5/26/12 at about 3 PM. I drove around a bit but didn't see any birding trails so I observed from the roadway for about 30 minutes or so. Not much flying birds but could only confirm a large number of white ibises and red winged blackbirds. I think I saw a small heron but was unable to identify it due to it being mostly hidden in the grass.
Any suggestions on what time to go there and specificilly where to go for more bird sightings.
