Birded Loop Road (Monroe Station to Sweetwater Strand and back) from 11 AM-1 PM. The road itself was ok, mosquitoes were somewhat annoying but were tolerable with spray. Saw the following (T=Tamiami Trail; L=Loop Rd)

Anhinga - T
Little Blue Heron - T
Tricolored Heron - T
Great Egret - T
Snowy Egret - T
Cattle Egret - T
Green Heron - T
White Ibis - T, L
Turkey Vulture - T
Black Vulture - T, L
Red-shouldered Hawk - T
Collared Dove - T
Yellow-billed Cuckoo - L
Red-bellied Woodpecker - L
Pileated Woodpecker - L
Great Crested Flycatcher - T, L
White-eyed Vireo - L
American Crow - T, L
Tufted Titmouse - L
Carolina Wren - L
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - L
N. Mockingbird - L

Tufted Titmouse, Parulas, Carolina Wrens and White-eyed Vireos were very vocal at Sweetwater Strand. Downy Woodpecker was heard only and I believe it was a Red-eyed Vireo that brifly sang.
