Red Knot at Crandon

There was a Red Knot in non-breeding plumage at Crandon Beach this afternoon. This seems to be a good time of year to see them in these parts as I think one was seen at Cutler Wetlands around the same time last year.

There was also a Sandwich Tern out there and a few lingering warblers at the Bearcut Preserve (Blackpoll, Am. Redstart, Com. Yellowthroat).
