Seawatching on the Eve

While scoping off of Haulover Beach today with my new scope I got for Xmas (Orion 18-36 x 60), I managed to find 4 gannets (3 imms, 1 adult), 3 frigatebirds, a jaeger, and 4 gull species. Two Forster's Terns flew by as I was leaving.

Either the 1st or 2nd, Felipe and I might bird Larry and Penny Thompson, Dump Marsh, Black Point, and Lucky Hammock at dusk. I am pushing for a year list of 275, and I have, thanks to the gannet, an '04 list of 264. Happy New Year everyone.
