Went to back yard and heard pee-a-weee twice. Looked up and there it was, on the wire, going back and forth flycatching. Guess migration is not over yet. First time ever for me in spring, and a definite new yard bird! Also, 2 bronzed cowbird males displaying a few blocks away this a.m. SW 23rd ave and 11th terrace area, Miami. Not much else, common yellowthroat has been present (and singing, believe it or not..) for a few days. Had a strong black mask, but a very small solid yellow throat below, sharply cut off from the pale brown chest and belly- maybe a far-north migrant, which tend to be less yellow below..
