Hello From North Carolina:
I will be down in Miami Beach on business in late January and I will have one entire day (i.e., up until 3:00 PM or so) to bird. I wanted to concentrate on South Florida specialty birds and was wondering which of the following were the most likely to be seen, and where. I have downloaded the info from this website on specialty birds and really do appreciate all of the helpful info. Any additional info on the following birds would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for all info!
Bill
Red-whiskered Bulbul-- Which is better a site- Kenall and 87th Avenue or Kenwood Elementary? How easy is this bird to see?
Spot-breasted Oriole-- Kenwood Elementary or A.D. Barnes Park--which is best?
Short-tailed Hawk--Anhinga Trail or Eco Pond in Everglades National Park? Is 8-9 AM the best time at both?
White-crowned Pigeon--Are they easily seen in Everglades National Park (and, if so, where) or is Key West the place to go?
Greater Flamingo-- Where in Everglades National Park is best?
Again, thanks in advance for all help. Have a Happy New Year!!!
