Some friends and I are visiting south Florida for a short birding trip next week. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a reliable spot, perhaps a known nest spot this year, for Spot-breasted Orioles further south than Ft. Lauderdale? I know about a nest at 728 NE 17th court in Ft. Lauderdale, and also at Richardson Historic Park in Wilton Manors, but was hoping we could find a spot further south, so that we can avoid driving up to Ft. Lauderdale. Any ideas?
I was planning to keep an eye out around the Baptist Hospital on Kendall Drive, and I know one was seen in April near Sunset and SW 102 Ave in Sunset, but I was hoping for a feeder or nest site to make our targeting a bit easier.
