I had a burger & beer at Tasters Grill in Tavernier and it came with a great sideshow of Antillean Nighthawks and Common Nighthawks buzzing each other over the parking lot. I believe there were 2 Antillean Nighthawks and about 4-5 Common Nighthawks in the show. According to the waiters and waitresses, the birds make a nightly performance around the shopping center. Birds were observed from 7:30 to about 8:00 pm. The cast of other supporting characters were Northern Mockingbirds, White-wing Doves, Grey Kingbirds, many Laughing Gulls and Common Grackles, and a lone Double-crested Cormorant.
