Rob,
Black Skimmers regularly occur at inland sites thought the lower half of the state. Skimmers are regular at inland sites suchs as the phosphate mines in Polk as well as Lake Apopka. They can also be seen at other spots south of Central FL that hosts suitable habitat and sufficient prey such as Lake O.
