Western Spindalis is still present in Key West.

Jeff Bouton just called me to report that he had seen the Western Spindalis at Indigenous Park in Key West. The bird was seen and heard in the back of the park on the right side of the pond or east side. It was in a small shrub near a dead palm stump, he piled some rocks together at the spot.
