Took a short break from the festivities of Christmas Day and headed out to Research Road in Everglades National Park at around 2PM. I noticed a smattering of Robins along this Road and pulled over by the Boy Scout camp sign. There were many Yellow-rumped Warblers, two Eastern Bluebirds, Hairy Woodpecker, Great Crested Flycatcher, Gray Catbirds, Red-bellied Woodpecker, and several Crows. I then drove to the end of Research Road (by the locked chain-link fence) and delighted in the sights and sounds of hundreds of American Robins. I spent a most enjoyable 20 minutes at this spot.
Happy Holidays to all.
