Today as I approached the toll plaza on I-75 just before alligator alley, I saw some boat-tailed grackles hanging around the toll booth. I paid the toll, and as I was leaving the sudden motion of the grackles in my mirrors caught my eye, so I looked back. There was a truck behind me stopping for the toll booth, and the grackles were flying onto the front grill, hanging onto it and apparently picking off the bugs stuck on it. I thought that was really neat.
