The La Sagra's was located at an area locally referred to as "the gate" -- a metal gate that controls access to a mulch path that leads to the State Police Marina on the intracoastal. It is a hair south of the middle of the park. See map.
The bird was feeding in a ficus on the left-hand side of the trail as you look west toward the intracoastal from the entrance to that path. There is a fruiting Gumbo Limbo just behind the ficus that had pretty decent bird activity last week.
(I'll add that this ficus is the same tree where I had a Black-whiskered Vireo last Saturday.)
Of course, birds have wings. It may even pay a visit to Gumbo Limbo Nature Center where it hung out for a while last year.
