You know it's been raining for a while when shorebirds start showing up at Kendall Indian Hammocks Park. This afternoon, I found a Spotted and a Solitary Sandpiper in a puddle near the gravel piles in the dumpster area. A few warblers were in the hammock:
Northern Parula 1
Black-throated Blue Warbler 1
Blackpoll Warbler 4
Black-and-white Warbler 3
American Redstart 7
Ovenbird 4
Common Yellowthroat 1
