Today we received news from friends down in the Keys and the Tortugas of a warbler "fallout". Mark and Carl are having a field day down there! Weather conditions are forecast to remain the same tomorrow and somewhat the same on Wednesday. If you are free and don't mind the rain, it may be worth a visit to the Keys in search of migrants. Birds that hit the southern end of the Keys will likely be dispersing across the landscape in search of food as they move north. We expect these migrants to stay grounded tonight as adverse conditions are forecast for the area. This will give birders a chance to make it down to the Keys if they choose too. So far this spring migration has rocked for some and has been dead as a doornail for others!
