I noticed it because it is a large reddish dove.Not gray at all. There were lines of large dark spots on its back and spots on its wings. No white except little squares on the sides that were on the very edges of the wings when it flew - not the sholder side. My notes say there may have been a little band along the end of the tail which wasn't pointed. The eyes had very bright blue eye rings. They are very noticable when it looks at you.
