Just wondered if anyone could help clarify what it takes for an exotic species to become established? What have the White-winged Parakeets achieved that the Yellow-chevroned haven't? And for that matter, what does the Purple Swamphen or the Common Myna have to demonstrate to get promoted? They both seemed to be doing quite well when I saw them at the weekend.
I looked up the ABA list, they seem to include both white-winged and the yellow-chevroned. Useful link here:
