Hey John, sorry I did not reply sooner, but was off the grid most of the day after posting.
The Black-billed Cuckoo was seen in the same general location as Megan's initial post on 4/25, but not the exact location within the preserve. Follow her same directions if you are not familiar with Founders Park in Islamorada, and make your way to the adjacent Preserve, north of the park. The cuckoo was seen first on the side of the preserve opposite the baseball field, but once found proved to be relatively active and cooperative, flying off to several spots within the preserve. The preserve was quite birdy, so it was well worth the visit regardless. Good luck. RG
