In the 3 hours or so (3-6pm) that I was there, I don't have too much to add. Around area A, I got 1 female, two molting male, and two fabulous full colored indigos. One of the males was hopping around the middle of the parking lot- and earlier one was perched on a picnic table. I did see a female painted behind the restaurant eating rouge plant berries. The most remarkable thing about today was the blackpolls. I covered most of the park, and they were everywhere. In the scout campground I counted 25 at the same time hopping around the grass. They were the 'all purpose warbler', flycatching, gleaning, walking around with 3 ovenbirds, in the low shrubs and ground with the palms, getting chased around by Cape Mays, eating berries with the bunting, perched on a stop sign, and even entering the girls bathroom (!) at area A. On a side note, I was on SW 8th st (Calle Ocho), and I noticed groups of blackpolls and Cape Mays several times in the black olive trees lining the road.
