Two birds saved today! At AD Barnes this morning, I came across a Blackpoll trapped in an orb weaver's web about 7 feet off the ground. I used a stick to pull it down, and was able to then get most of the silk off its wings and feet--at which point it got feisty, repeatedly snapping at my hand! It flew off, a bit unsteadily, but hopefully to get back north
