Northern waterthrush? ID help please

At Green Cay Sunday, I spotted what looked too dark for a warbler, and though not a great shot as it was through heavy shade and poor light, in looking at it I still couldn't identify it as any warbler. Someone else tentatively ID'd it as a northern waterthrush, but I've not seen one of those before - so any help appreciated!
