While taking a break from bonefishing yesterday we walked on Elliot and found it loaded with songbirds. A fruiting Strangler Fig on the south end of the bayside campground had numerous of the following simultaneously; Orchard Oriole, Veery, Rose Breasted Grosbeak, Indigo Bunting, Scarlet Tanager, Cape May, Blackpoll, Prairie, Worm-eating, Palm, Grey Kingbird. Bobolinks, Merlins, Blue-winged teal and a lingering Merganser were seen over the ocean.
