Being new to the area (just moved from TN to study herps in ENP/BNP) and looking for something to do on a Sunday, I decided to check out this list and noticed Vincent Lucas's report of Smooth-billed Anis in Homestead.
Sure enough, I saw three birds at the corner of Redland Rd. and Avocado Dr at about 2pm this afternoon. They seemed to be hanging in there (although I wouldn't say they were in top condition)..it was a treat.
