Took my tour group out to Flamingo today and passed at least eight small groups (4-12) of Indigo Buntings from Paroutis Pond to the VC. At Flamingo we had a male Cape May Warbler, male Scarlet Tanager, a flock of 57 Indigo Buntings with 3 Blue Grosbeaks feeding behind the VC, four Gray Kingbirds, three Eastern Kingbirds, one male Shiny Cowbird and a very large mixed flock of peeps and other shorebirds by the last restroom in the picnic area.
Lots going on this morning!
