I went out to Chapel Trail Nature Center in western Broward this afternoon at about 2pm, right after the storm, to look for the Purple Swamphen. I found it, as well as the usual waders, and a number of migrants, including:
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
Bell's Vireo
The vireo was at the entrance to the boardwalk, and was signing like crazy. I got great looks for about a minute before he took off to the east.
