Yesterday a brave group of birders came out to join the Greynolds walk and hope to avoid the rain. Unfortunately for us it would not work out and we had to end the walk a bit early. For the short period of time we were out there we got 15 species - most were located by the boat house. Thanks to everyone who came out and participated and I am sorry my memo did not make it to the weather gods in time...

Cedar Waxwing
Great Egret
Prairie Warbler
Northern Parula
Black-and-White Warbler
Cape May Warbler
Northern Cardinal
Chimney Swift
Common Gallinule
Yellow-crowned Night Heron
Great Crested Flycatcher (heard)
Sharp-shinned Hawk
Ovenbird
