A few lingering winter visitors were at Green Cay this morning, including American Bittern (in the SE corner), Sora, and Painted Buntings. Also had 3 Least Bitterns, Limpkin, and 2 Solitary Sandpipers.
There were no warblers or other migrants seen. However, there was a large flock of Cedar Waxwings flying around, and so Toe's theory continues to be proven true. A few more trials, and we might be able to change it to Toe's Law of Waxwings.......
