Toe, Carlos and I went to Ft. Myers this morning to see the Lazuli Bunting. The bird showed for us about 10 minutes after arriving and it gave us good looks for about 2 minutes. Toe and I wanted to get better photos and video so we waited a little over an hour before giving up on seeing the bird again.
FYI - just after seeing the Lazuli Bunting we heard and saw flocks of hundreds of Cedar Waxwings. Anecdotal evidence is building regarding these apparent blood thirsty Waxwings... I hope the LABU escaped without harm, but we will not know for sure unless it shows up at the feeders again.
