I have never actually seen a cedar waxwing or photographed one, so I was unsure on the ID. I was actually standing in my front yard, and saw smallish birds clustered in a neighbor's tree - I had my small 55-210mm lens on my mirrorless, so I just zoomed all the way and snapped a few bad shots. I had basically forgotten about them until I downloaded them to my computer, saw the shot of a distant shadowy tree, and decided to enlarge and brighten the image to identify the birds. I think what I am seeing here are cedar waxwings, which would be a first sighting for me. There were probably 25-35 of them in the tree, and not making any noises. This was Sunday, April 8, near my house in central south Boca Raton. Any ID help or confirm appreciated!
