eBird follows the Clements list for its taxonomy, which DOES accept the split with the following names:
Common Hill Myna
Southern Hill Myna
Ceylon Myna
Nias Myna
Enggano Myna
So eBird is correct in this regard.
AOU is probably behind with the taxonomy of this species due to it being an exotic that belongs to a family with no native representative in the Americas.
