Hello,
My girlfriend and I will be in south Florida birding from Sat. the 28th of April to the 6th of May. I will be in Everglades (Flamingo) at least one day (Wed. May 2 and / or Thurs. May 3rd)and was hoping to arrange a trip to look for the previously reported Am. Flamingoes. There is an ebird report of 3 birds from March 25 and I am hoping at least a few of these birds will stick around a few more weeks.
Any positive or negative reports of these birds between now and the end of the month would be greatly appreciated (on or off list).
I will be exploring some of the charter boat options previously posted and am interested in sharing expenses with anyone also interested in going on the afternoon of May 2nd or morning of May 3rd; there will only be two of us. Please contact me if interested. I also considered canoeing but don't think we will have the time considering our schedule and abilities.
