I am truly sorry that John has moved to another level. His work will be sorely missed. Please pass my condolences along to his family and let them know that his work was certainly valued!
Just in case I forget, please accept my thanks for your work on the Everglades and South Florida's few remaining islands of wilderness. There are fewer now than there were when I grew up, and I shudder to contemplate how very many fewer there would be without the efforts of peolple like you, John Ogden, Bill Richardson and the many, many others who have carried the struggle to balance the Environment with the Developer's greed down here.
