Birded spots in the Kendall area from 8 to 10:30 AM. Had a total of 37 species. Highlights:

Kendall Indian Hammocks:
Sharp-shinned Hawk chasing and missing a Mourning Dove. It was later mobbed for about 10 minutes by Blue Jays which didn't seem to fear it. Also had Purple Martin (single female), male Kestrel, Monk Parakeet, flock of Cedar Waxwings feeding on strangler fig berries, Black-and-white Warbler (only warbler seen at park), a singing Blue-headed Vireo and Gray Catbirds. One of the catbirds was non-stop singing, first time I hear one. Sounds like a squeaky Mockingbird.

Afterwards headed to Horse Country and added White-crowned Pigeon, a Killdeer feeding near horses, Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, Coots and C. Gallinules, and another Sharp-shinned Hawk (soaring).

Cave Swallows (3) were seen by the canal on Sunset and SW 107 Ave.

Didn't find the RW Bulbuls in the Kendallwood Neighborhood and only added Common Grackles and a pair of Palm Warblers to my day's list.

Ended the day at Baptist Hospital which had many noisy Mitred Parakeets and a pair of calling Hill Mynas.
