All,

My wife Arlyne and I did not have any luck relocating the TB Vireo this past weekend, but a couple from Ohio reported seeing it briefly at pole #16 on Saturday morning at 8:00 AM. On Sunday another birder spotted a Lark Sparrow foraging in the grass across the street from pole 16 that worked its way up and down the road from there. To my not so experienced with LASP eye, it appeared to be a first year bird. Other passerines of note were multiple Palm Warblers, female Common Yellowthroat, m & f Black-throated Blue Warblers, female Redstart, m & f No. Parulas, Black-and-white Warbler, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Red-eyed Vireo, m & f Indigo Buntings, and a very young White-crowned Pigeon.

Both a dark and light Short-tailed Hawk worked the area over-head, joined by Cooper's Hawks, Sharp-shinned Hawks, all 3 expected falcons, with a few large kettles of Broad-winged Hawks evident as well.

We also visited Bahia Honda St. Park on Sunday to see some butterflies and found a male Wilson's Warbler at the top of the trail up to the old bridge.
