There was a nice raptor flight over Cape Florida today. The movement was steady during the morning, but we weren't able to give it full attention. At noon I went to the south end and within 15 minutes had the following: Osprey, Northern Harrier, Cooper's, Sharp-shinned, Red-shouldered and Broad-winged Hawks, American Kestrel, Merlin and Peregrine Falcon. Pockets of swallows also came by.

A Scissor-tailed Flycatcher hangs out near No Name Harbor parking area. Today there were 10 warbler species (including Hooded and Magnolia), but numbers were way down. Most of the migrants seemed to have been sucked out of the park, including catbirds. A few Bobolinks are still around. Eastern Phoebes and House Wrens have returned.
