The catbirds out at Cape Florida State Park are devouring all the Virginia creeper and pokeweed fruit they can get their beaks on-most of it is gone now so they seem to be switching over to the rouge plant. They're also swarming over any ficus with fruit. If you want to attract catbirds, plant fruiting shrubs or trees, the juicier and more purple the better!
