The Deering Estate has been very busy. On Sat and Sun we had the Cutler Days Event. So birding has been very difficult for Ernie and I. But, we still catty our bino s around. The following birds where seen:

Hooded Warbler (yesterday and today; very beautiful)
Sharp shinned Hawk
Cooper s hawk
Turkey Vulture
Black-throated Blue Warbler
White-eye Vireo
Red-eye Vireo
Gray Catbird (Every other bird is a catbird)

And the regular year round birds
Blue Jay
Northern Cardinal
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Common Grackle
White Crown Pigeons

Has anyone seen any Pileated Woodpeckers?
