I couldn't make it out on Saturday, but the incredible fallout reported throughout was still in evidence on my little patch...I tallied 40 species in/from my yard for the day. The biggest highlight was my SoFla first FIELD SPARROW, which was with a flock of about 3 dozen Indigo Buntings feeding in the weeds along the canal. Also in the flock were 2 Painted Buntings. I also tallied 9 species of warbler (my previous daily high was 5) including Chestnut-sided and Magnolia. Raptors included Osprey, Kestrel and the resident Cooper's at eye level, 30' away, dining al fresco on Mourning Dove.
