Did a quick visit on Sunday morning (12/17)to the new wetlands. Ducks included Am Wigeon, Shoveler, Gr & Bl-winged Teal, Mottled. Shorebirds included Dowitcher sp., Gr Yellowlegs and Least Sandpiper. Raptors included at least 3 Snail Kites (2 males acting territorially and 1 female), Osprey, Harrier, Red-shouldered, Kestrel. Other sightings included House Wren, Phoebe, Sav Sparrow, Spoonbill, Wood Stork. I looked for Snow Geese but none seen.
As this was my first time there, I can't compare water levels, but a good amount of water appeared to be flowing in.
