Heyy birders! Today I went to Matheson again and found not 1 but 2 Bay-breasted Warblers. There was a 1st winter and another one with brigter reddish flanks. Both were in a flock of Red-eyed Vireo, Yellow-throated Vireo, White-eyed Vireo, and 2 Eastern Wood-pewees. The mixed flock were around the brown resting place.
There was another loose flock of warblers around the picnic area. The flock consisted of mostly Tennesse, BTB, Parulas and 1 female BLACKBURNIAN warbler. Other highlights were 1 Summer Tanager, many Swainson's Thrush and alot of Catbirds. Great birding!
