Birding at Barnes was A-1. Jill Rosenfield and I had 17 species of warbler, including Blackburnian, Bay-breasted, Blue-winged, Chestnut-sided, Tennessee, Magnolia and Hooded. We also saw Scarlet and Summer Tanagers, Rose-breasted Grossbeaks and Wood, Swainson's and Gray-cheeked Thrushes. A Tufted Titmouse was still present and there were a few Eastern Wood-Pewees and a Trail's Flycatcher. We ran into Kitty Suarez, Joe Barros and Paul Bithorn. They may have additional sightings to report.
