At the link is a slide show of the displaying herons at their nest site. They are beginning to construct nests. Last year most of them were in Brazilian Pepper trees, suspended over the canal. The nest trees have been sprayed with herbicide by SFWMD and the nests will not be well hidden as they were last spring.
