Today I managed to find 10 warbler species in my yard in Miami Shores, and an eleventh species across the street from my house. The big attraction to the yard were the large oaks in my yard, and my bird bath. A Red-eyed and White-eyed Vireo fed in a Virginia Creeper, and a kettle of raptors moved over later in the afternoon. At one point, I found a vireo that could have been a Philadelphia, but moved off before I could call it a Red-eyed or Philly. Here is today's list of migrants that moved over the small area I covered today:

T Vulture- ~5
B vulture
SS Hawk
P Falcon- 1
RT Hummingbird
RE Vireo
WE Vireo
BG Gnatcatcher

N Parula- ~15
CS Warbler- fun fall warbler; first of the species I've seen since June 2000 in northern-most Minnesota!
BTB Warbler- most abundant warbler; ~20
BTG Warbler- M; 1 FOS; at the bird bath
Prairie Warbler- ~7
Palm Warbler- 2 FOS
B+W Warbler- 1 F
Am Redstart- ~10; one F/imm fed on the ground under a small shrub in my yard all day.
WE Warbler- 2; probably some of my last of the year.
Ovenbird- 4
C yellowthroat- 1 (the only one not in my yard today
