Painted buntings now regular feeders at 5:45- 6:30 each evening. One male, two or more females. Catbirds increasing in number. Redstarts present also and seem to like to "bathe-flutter" after we wet down the trees and bushes. More osprey moving through and buzzards streaming south at high altitudes. Dove numbers grow daily--mostly mourning. Blackbirds of all varietis now in residence at the land fill by Quiet Waters Park and flock to roost site over the Hammock nightly; numbers in the thousands! Seems like it! Killdeer also present in groups of three-five.
