Recent sightings include: ovenbird, northern water thrush, northern flicker, Yellow-throated vireo, Yellow-throated warbler and B-T Green warblers along with a sizable flocks (40-50) of cedar waxwings.
I had the good fortune to run into Holly and her mother a couple times in the last week or so. It was nice to have her well-trained ear to rely on!
The wood ducks are still present, frequenting the pond on the northern perimeter of the park, though I've only seen the male for the past week.
At the risk of (re)opening a can of worms, I was able to confirm the presence of at least two, and probably three, "great-crested" flycatchers this morning. So it is *possible* that the photographed bird may not be the same one identified as the brown-crested.
