i saw the most impressive flight of birds i have seen in a long time at mm 53 on us 27 yesterday. 60 white pelicans flying low and slow crossing right over the highway. i've seen plenty of them at a distance, or soaring high overhead, i had no idea they were so impressive up close. giant flock of giant prehistoric looking birds. kd
