I checked last year's Dickcissel spot this morning. To get to it, go south on Krome Ave. about 1.7(?) miles from Kendall Dr. Cross over the canal and turn left (east) along the south side of the canal. Park near the railroad tracks.
One Blue Grosbeak was seen on both sides of the canal, as were 3 Painted and 3 Indigo Buntings. The Clay-colored Sparrow was on the NE corner of the canal/RR intersection. Last year, Dickcissels were also present here. Today, I didn't hear or see any sign of them.
