George White and I visited Green Cay today. Arrived about 9:30 am and stayed until about 12:30.

Highlights were great views of a male Painted Bunting, Eastern Phoebe, Blue-headed Vireo, Sora (4) Marsh Wren, Purple Gallinule (2), Northern Harrier females (2), Common Gallinules fighting, then we believe the winner of the battle got the female because just after we saw mating. Also, plenty of Yellow rumps and Palm warblers and 1 female Common Yellowthroat. Snowy Egrets starting to get breeding plumage and most of the regular waders. On our way out we finally got to see the Bobcat family. A creature lifer for both of us. Rain threatened, but just blew over with just a few sprinkles. A good day!
